This 76-piece stained glass panel is an original design I created for my wife. She wanted something that involved "lines and angles" and which used her favourite colours: teal and purple. Building on these guidelines, I incorporated some circular elements and added in blue and green colours (which she also likes) to flesh out the design. The end result is an interesting work of modern art done using colours "on the cool side of the spectrum".
It is also worth noting that, while most of the glass pieces used here are simple geometric shapes, close inspection reveals a few that are anything but! The 8-sided light purple piece in the upper left was the most challenging to create, as it required two concave curves as well as an interior right angle cut.
